ALICE will improve and extend IWT models, methodologies and components to prepare it for a smooth integration of its results. The improvement are related to the following topics:
- Knowledge Model Contextualisation
- A model able to formally represent a learning context
- An ontology contextualisation methodology adapting an ontology to a specific context
- Upper Level Learning Goals
- A methodology to generate a learning experience starting from a request made by the learner in terms of needs to be satisfied and expressed using natural language
- Semantic Connections Between Learning Resources
- A connection model specifying semantic links inside and between learning resources
- A resource altering methodology that dynamically filters and transforms learning resources and learning paths basing on such connections
